Second, features! Since I commented on *Sephiramy's journal and also just like features in general, I'll be doing those! Because I lack a sub, I won't be able to put pretty thumbnails in my journal. So instead I'll put links and write a sentence or two about why I chose those particular drawings of yours to feature.
RULES!
1. For each of the 20 first people answering this journal, I will put their avatar and the three deviations I like most from their gallery on the list!
2. If you answer, you have to do the same in your journal, putting the tagger (me) on the first place. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone!
1)
[link] Oh gosh I had this one as my wallpaper for my computer for the longest time *v* I just love everything about this: the expression, the perspective, the dress, the reflection on the floor...! Everything!
[link] The art nouveau-ish background works really well here, their poses and expressions are perfect and I wouldn't be Spesiria if I didn't feature a picture that contains a really handsome guy with facial hair.
[link] Also you have the best colour palette. Seriously, you know exactly which colours work well together, and this picture is a great example of that! The soft yellow and blue just work so well together. Love it!
2)
[link] Amazing linework here! I love the mood in this picture, and the way you drew texture here, especially on the tree. Great work!
[link] The lighting and shading in this picture creates a very mysterious, somewhat spooky atmosphere. I like how you chose to have her look over her shoulder instead of just standing there directly facing "the camera": it makes the picture very dynamic. I also really like the fact that you took constructive criticism and made this picture even better than it was before!
[link] Awesome colouring! Seriously, love your colour choice here. Also just the design of wizard Face himself.
3)
[link] So cute *c* Ahaha but seriously I totally ship these two so they'd better be a canon couple! The waterpaint-ish background is amazing (those colours! I love yellow/pink/orange/purple combinations!) and there's just this really sweet, relaxed mood in this picture. Lovely expressions, too!
[link] Her pose brah, her pose! It's wonderful how much you tell us about your character just through her gestures! Also I love this lady. She looks like someone who is going to kick ass and look good doing so.
[link] There are still so many other pictures I could choose from your gallery, but I chose this one because 1: your pencil work is high quality and I am jelly, and 2: I love the way you draw faces. They just look so good. Like. When I draw faces they all end up wonky and deformed, but yours are just perfectly structured and they just look right. All my love
4)
[link] Love the composition and the very effective use of a minimal amount of colours here! You can just...scroll down and be like "wooooooooow" all the way through. Beautifully painted Also hot guy with facial hair. Teeeheeee *flails*
[link] Coloursss! I love the blue/pinkish orange combination here. Also that fish is adorable. Also her eyes are awesome. Also those fins! Just look at the fins on that mermaid, I just love how you painted those. Very cool!
[link] And of course I just have to feature a collab between you and Crowbar because you guys are a dream-team. Ann with your amazing lineart and Crowbar with her colours = stunning art. So yeah, love the lineart and the colouring, obviously. And also the expressions, haha. I can understand why Heather is annoyed, sitting in the snow in her underwear

[link] Because I have a thing for colours, I will first mention that I really enjoy your green/red combination here! Contrasting colours are the best. This cover is very creative: I really like how you used those card symbols (the heart, spade, diamond and club) to give us a sneak peak of the other characters involved. And of course the reference to Alice in Wonderland is just great. Lovely!
[link] This is such a neat photo manipulation! You're really just...sucked in by the background. Like your about to time travel yourself, haha. Love those faded clocks in the background and that hat in the foreground. It gives a real sense of depth in the picture. Great job on this!
[link] Aaah ok ok, I know this one is old, but it's still so pretty and one of my favourites! All those wonderful textures, the amount of detail...! The fact that you did all this by hand is just unbelievable, it must have taken so much time and dedication! I just love those clouds, the patterns you chose for the individual characters, and I will never stop staring at all those tiny little windows in the hotel and be jealous of your patience.

I hope you don't mind that I just look at your drawings of people, since I don't know too much about weapons and war vehicles and couldn't really say anything sensible about them, haha.
[link] Really like the detail in this picture! Nice background with a well drawn house, tank and helicopters. You obviously put a lot of effort into the picture, and it shows. Also just the fact that you can draw vehicles this well needs a mention because, personally, I couldn't draw those things to safe my life. Nice job on the woman as well, especially dig the way you drew her clothes.
[link] This one is very nice as well! I really like how these people actually look like real people, like a real kid and a teen. I don't know if you used a reference, but still I like it! Also special mention to the vehicle in the picture again, haha.
[link] Very cute portrait! I would advise you to try to use less harsh lines when drawing mouth and noses though: try using soft shading instead , that will give a nicer, more realistic effect. But you are an artist with an eye for detail! Keep it up and keep improving C:

[link] Lovely shading here! I really enjoy the soft colours and just the general soft feeling of this picture. Also this guy is cute, haha, love it his hat
[link] Such an adorable couple! Sorry, I just love pictures of cute couples, and this one is great! I love how you conveyed such a nice, peaceful mood through this picture. Again, the softness of your style really works here.
[link] Haha, I really like the style here! The thick, solid blue outlines and the coloured lines are wonderful. It's very different from the softer style, but also really cool. I'd call it art-nouveau-ish, but that may sound a little too posh for such a cute, funny picture :3c I like your style a lot, keep it up!
